Team Summary
We are looking for an Analyst/Associate for our Connectivity Consulting Group. The group is the first point of contact in Arcesium for counterparties, services, third-party vendors and clients in all matters relating to establishing connectivity and file accessibility with client counterparts, enabling systematic file parsing and facilitating availability of inbound and outbound data for Reconciliation, Treasury and other operational workflows.
The group has an opening for a vital and critical role where we establish intelligent reconciliation logic between the external data and client data, provide operational support, and product support to our internal and external clients.
What You'll Do
• Analyze and interpret external/internal data and establish logic for daily cash and position to be consumed by Arcesium’s downstream teams and systems and assist in resolving any variances.
• Become familiar with the reconciliation logic for simple and complex asset classes and assist clients (internal & external) with any related queries.
• Work 75% supporting existing operations and 25% on new build required for existing client operations.
• Perform regular review of client’s workflow to look for business process improvements.
• Understand the upstream and downstream workflow and liaise with various development teams to ensure business requirements related to any new reconciliation setup or new onboarding are met.
• Achieve good understanding of the internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Liaise with clients, custodian banks, prime brokers and accounting to resolve any problems and provide assistance where necessary.
• Communicate regularly and effectively and must have ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of basic financial products like Equities and Fixed Income.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with SQL, if required.
- Effective oral/written communications skills.
- Flexible enough to work on strict deadlines and multiple time zones, including night shift
