Title:  Contract Analyst - Windows Packaging Specialist

Team Summary

We are looking for a Windows Packaging Specialist to join our Software Packaging and Deployment team. You will be responsible for creating and testing Windows software installation packages for various applications through Intune using PowerShell, etc. You will also collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of Office 365 services with other software applications. 

As a Windows Packaging Specialist, you will have extensive experience in packaging software in Intune, a cloud-based service that allows you to manage and secure your devices and applications. You will be able to leverage your Intune packaging skills to create reliable and efficient software packages that meet the needs of our internal users.

What You'll Do

• At least 2 years’ experience in packaging and deploying application on a system (Intune, SCCM, etc.).
• Create Windows software installation packages required Software Packaging and Deployment workstream.
• Test the final package for consistency and troubleshoot any issues related to Office 365 integration and software packaging.
• Collaborate with requesting users and or software vendors to obtain needed details on their requests and answer any questions they may have.
• Automate the packaging process using scripting languages and tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Deploy and distribute the software packages to the target devices using Intune or other methods.
• Maintain and update the software packages as needed to ensure compatibility and security.
• Monitor and upgrade the newer versions of the deployed software.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Technology, or related field
• 3 - 4 years of experience in packaging & deploying applications on a system (Intune, SCCM, etc.).
• Basic understanding of the Windows OS and Windows 11
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, etc.
• Experience with Windows application packaging tools and deployment through Intune
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and production practices
• Basic computer skills, working with O365, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and train junior members.
• Organized and self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage demanding workload.
