What You'll Do

  • Managing the team to ensure end to end payroll processing for India entities is done on time and as expected
  • Ensure internal controls and processes set are diligently followed by the team to ensure risk exposure is limited
  • Reviewing the current processes at regular intervals to ensure they can highlight/cover any inconsistencies
  • Timely payment of Regulatory dues (state and central) and adherence to all payroll related compliances
  • Manage the Full & Final settlement processes for exiting employees
  • Ensuring postings in the books of accounts are done at end of each month on time and as expected
  • Reconciliations of payroll GL’s on a regular basis
  • Reviewing and sending out the offer letters prepared by the payroll vendor in agreed timelines before sending out to candidates
  • Providing MIS reports to concerned teams on pre agreed dates
  • Ensuring No dues clearance process to exiting employees is being provided by the teams within timelines

What You'll Need

  • The candidate should have bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, HR, Accounting, Business Administration or MBA  with 5-7 years of experience
  • The candidate must have deep knowledge and understanding of end-to-end compensation, Payroll, Finance and IT processes in ADP and Oracle/Tally and experience of working with these products in a global organization.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with a proven ability to build solid relationships with global, regional, and local stakeholders
  • Knowledge of India Tax and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Strong team player and at the same time takes ownership to drive strategic objectives
  • Should be able to not only conceptualize and drive initiatives but also be willing to get into details
  • Adaptable and creative approach to address issues and solve problem
  • Experience in engaging senior internal and external stakeholders including auditors, statutory and regulatory compliance authorities.
