Team Summary

We are looking for an Associate Consultant for our Connectivity Consulting Group. The group is the first point of contact in Arcesium for counterparties, services, third-party vendors, and clients in all matters relating to establishing connectivity and file accessibility with client counterparts, enabling systematic file parsing and facilitating availability of inbound and outbound data for Reconciliation, Treasury, and other operational workflows. The group has an opening for a vital and critical role where we establish intelligent reconciliation logic between the external data and client data, provide operational support, and product support to our internal and external Clients.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and interpret external/internal data and establish logic for daily cash and position to be consumed by Arcesium’s downstream teams and systems and assist in resolving any variances.
  • Become familiar with the reconciliation logic for simple and complex asset classes and assist clients (internal & external) with any related queries.
  • Passionate, to mentor team members supporting existing operations, and work on new requirements for existing or new client operations.
  • Understand the upstream and downstream workflow and liaise with various development teams to ensure business requirements related to any new reconciliation setup or new onboardings are met.
  • Acting as the first level of escalation point for clients to ensure issues are properly prioritized and resolved.
  • Work 50% supporting existing operations and 50% on new build required for existing client operations.
  • Perform regular review of client’s workflow to look for business process improvements.
  • Collaborate with other groups within Arcesium on projects to improvise performance, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Coordinating with product and release managers and learning/staying up to date with
    the platform capabilities (new features, processes etc.)
  • Communicate regularly and effectively and must have ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute towards documentation and ensure that it is up to date with the process changes.
  • Engaging with team members and aid in career planning

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance with 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  • A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative, optimistic attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of basic as well as complex financial products like Equities,
    Swaps & Derivatives, Fixed Income etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Keen to pick-up automation skills
  • Effective oral/written communications skills.
  • Flexible enough to work on strict deadlines and multiple time zones, including night
    shift.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with SQL, if required.
