Team Summary

We are looking for a Senior Manager for our Trade Accounting and Operations/Fund and Investor Accounting teams. The group handles various middle and back-office activities for Private funds which includes ensuring post trade activities happen in a timely manner. while ensuring an accurate view of positions, cash and P&L via daily reconciliations, settlements, and fund and investor accounting. The team works closely with our clients, counterparties, agents, fund administrators and investment managers to achieve this (. The team deals with a variety of strategies (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Private Credits, etc.) as well as fund types (master – feeder, side pocket, fund of fund) and different kinds of financial instruments, spanning different geographies and time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Accountability for accuracy and timeliness of the work product of the team - daily trade, position, and cash reconciliations to the / custodians/agents/administrators, income / expense accrual bookings. and settlements of deal fundings.
  • Playing an active oversight role in day-to-day operations, escalation of aged breaks, business-as-usual troubleshooting and setting direction and goals for individuals.
  • Coordinating with investment managers, custodians & administrators to resolve day-to-day exceptions, as well as develop and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and review periodic (Monthly/ Quarterly) NAV finalizations for shadow books and records.
  • Ensure accuracy of all fee computations and related Investor balances and allocations
  • Working with the global team to define strategy and new projects and set applicable priorities.
  • Work with technology teams as needed, by assisting in special projects, delivering client solutions, product implementation and UAT.

What You'll Need

  • The ideal candidate must have an MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA or any another equivalent qualification
  • 9-12 years of work experience in fund or investor accounting (4-5 years in Private Markets)
  • In-depth Private Markets domain knowledge, attention to detail, the ability to work with minimal supervision and experience in managing high performers.
  • Drive to enhance the efficiency of processes
  • Strong project management skills and effective managerial ability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
