Team Summary
We are looking for exceptional technologist to join our Technology team. The candidate will be involved in building complex next generation software and architecting solutions to support new technical and business initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Contribute and lead the data strategy across the firm
- Evangelize the adoption of data platform across engineering teams managing varied datasets
- Be a technical leader in driving solutions around data modeling, data pipelining & orchestration, data transport, and access control
- Establish policies, tenets and processes that help guide the data transformation
- Propose and review solution design across engineering teams as they onboard onto the data platform
- Engage actively with the tech community via blogs, knowledge sharing sessions, scale teams to support future growth
- Lead by example – build solutions that leverages the data platform thereby accelerating the transformation across the firm
- Contribute to Artifact Repository - It includes ideas, designs, frameworks, policies, process, and so on
- Mentor Senior Engineers across the firm by providing guidance and coaching
What You'll Need
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering with 13+ years of experience in IT industry
- Deep understanding in one or more of the data processing frameworks like Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams, Dataflow or similar
- Good understanding of data pipelines, distributed systems, large-scale data processing
- Hands-on experience in building near real-time data ETL, ELT and normalization
- Experience with data modelling, schema evolution, and governance
- Hands-on experience in evaluating opensource frameworks, exploration of libraries and tools using rapid prototyping
- Experience in preparing business proposals with benefits and driver, financial merits
- Strong technical leadership with bias towards engineering and operational excellence
- Experience guiding/mentoring highly skilled engineers and driving projects across the firm
