Team Summary

 

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Treasury team within the Financial Operations group. Members of this team, work on collateral management, replication of client’s margining and financing methodologies, tracking of client’s security lending, and borrowing information and in the process gain a comprehensive and holistic understanding of all these functions. Team also works on optimizing the portfolio margin and reducing the financing charges.

What You'll Do

 

  • Handle margin calls and pulls for the clients. You will analyze the reason for differences in exposure, margin and collateral and work with the counterparties to resolve the breaks
  •  Analyze and resolve breaks in portfolio margin computations as well as interest computations for medium and high complexity calculators
  •  Ensure accuracy of borrowing and lending information in our system
  •  Work on ad-hoc projects/client queries
  •  Onboard new agreements to our platform 
  •  Collaborate with various teams across the firm to deliver the best output to clients
  • Ensure knowledge gained is institutionalized in the team
  •  Challenge status quo and implement process improvements
  •  Train and assist junior members of the team
  • Stay abreast of global financial happenings and industry best practices

What You'll Need

 

  • MBA, CFA/FRM alongside is an added advantage
  • 2 - 3 years of experience  
  • Working proficiency in MS Excel. Also, knowledge of VBA macros and Python is a plus
  • Operational rigor, keen process orientation, and an eye for detail
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • The ability to work well in teams and multi-task
  • Employees working in this group will gain comprehensive and holistic understanding of all the collateral management functions and are required to provide coverage during New York working hours.
