Position Summary
Arcesium seeks a Business Strategy Lead to join our Business Strategy team, reporting to the COO. This presents an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to have a huge impact, by building on our strong success today and influencing the future development and build-out of the function, its operational set-up, and the resources and capabilities needed to execute strategy. This will ultimately shape the success and future strategic direction of Arcesium.
We are looking for a seasoned strategist who can plan and lead several projects and quickly evaluate new business opportunities that create value. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and a “role-up-your-sleeves, get-it-done” attitude.
Responsibilities
- Support overall company and product strategy; evaluate new opportunities that drive investment decisions
- Conduct market research and analysis, synthesize findings, apply critical thinking skills to develop insights, and test hypotheses
- Put together business cases in support of management discussions and decision-making, often in fluid or ambiguous situations
- Produce presentations, proposals, and reports for executive-level audiences
- Manage end-to-end project executions, budgets, and schedules with key stakeholders at various levels across the organization
- Mobilize and collaborate with several teams including Financial Operations, Technology, Product, Forward Deployed, Finance, and other client facing teams
- Train and mentor other colleagues, and provide oversight and functional management of daily workflows
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required and an MBA is a plus
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in new business development and strategic growth
- A background in management consulting or corporate development at a mid-to-large sized organization, working on financial services or fintech projects
- Familiarity with a product-driven company is a plus
The expected annual base salary for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, cash and deferred sign-on bonuses, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.
The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
