Position Summary

Arcesium seeks a seasoned Sr. Web Developer to join our Marketing team. This role will be strategic in the execution and support of Arcesium.com as we move to rebuild and re-platform the site. Along with hands-on involvement in developing best-in-class user experiences, The Sr. Web Developer will also be responsible for maintaining the website and ensuring its security and availability and will lead and support the tools and services necessary for the execution of technical SEO, analytics, personalization, and other initiatives. This role will be involved in many lanes of technical work, and deep and broad technical experience beyond just coding will be essential to its success.


- Partner with vendor agencies to support the completion and launch of Arcesium’s website redesign.
- Code feature updates and other site initiatives as directed by the Head of Web Strategy.
- Design and oversee our post-launch code deployment model.
- Provide site and platform support, ensuring security and availability.
- Oversee and manage third-party tools and services, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and others.
- Ensure the Arcesium website meets all accessibility standards and technical SEO requirements using Google Core Web Vitals and other tools to establish baseline scoring measurements.
- Understand and document the website’s CMS and provide training and support for content authors.
- Partner with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Corporate Marketing teams to help drive CRO and site conversions.
- Work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements around GDPR and CCPA.


- 6+ years as a frontend web developer with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role building responsive, highly interactive web experiences.
- Deep understanding of modern web frameworks including, but not limited to, React and Next.js. 
- Expert HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript skills.
- Hands-on familiarity with various CMS platforms, including WordPress, Builder, Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to interact with APIs.
- Working understanding of Figma and other UI design tools and modern design patterns. Design experience a plus.
- Deep experience with code repositories and best practices for maintaining and deploying code.
- Extremely self-motivated, with great time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences in a remote environment.
- Experience with documenting processes and procedures where none might exist.
- Someone who is deeply empathetic and looks to better those around them.

The expected annual base salary for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, cash and deferred sign-on bonuses, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.

The applicable annual base salary or hourly rate paid to a successful applicant will be determined based on multiple factors including without limitation the nature and extent of prior experience and educational background.
