Position Summary

Arcesium seeks a Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our Client and Partner Development team. This person will regularly engage the management team to understand top corporate priorities, including new client segments, geographies, products, and commercial initiatives, and use that understanding to source and execute partnership arrangements consistent with firm wide strategy.  


- Identify new business, product, and partnership opportunities between Arcesium and potential partners across all areas of business
- Develop relationships with potential new strategic partners (in support of new business lines, product features, and extended capabilities) and work on strengthening relationships with existing partners 
- Manage new partnership discussions end-to-end, from sourcing and qualifying, to scoping, negotiating, and closing contracts
- Design and deliver concrete go-to-market strategies and develop and execute a roadmap and methodology for the launch and commercialization of successful partnerships
- Work cross functionally to ensure new partnerships launch and operate smoothly
- Develop thought leadership and provocative perspectives on areas to transform and accelerate growth


- 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in managing partnerships in a high growth environment 
- Ability to understand and assess new opportunities based on customer and market need, organizational alignment, economics, technological capabilities, and competitive environment
- Demonstrated thought leadership in new partnership constructs and innovation trends, and the ability to win complex deals, negotiate and structure successful commercial partnerships and/or early-stage investments, and drive business development 
- Expertise developing business cases, performing financial analysis and modeling, executing  partnership legal agreements, and developing co-marketing/co-selling strategies 
- Domain relevant experience with strong knowledge base across front, middle, and back office, and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the broad software/services ecosystem
- Passion for creatively solving problems and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit that is adept at building things from the ground up, developing structure in an unstructured environment, and pivoting quickly to changing opportunities 
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal and external senior audiences
- Team player who excels at working with cross-functional, matrixed project teams
